Lineage of Shorinji Tetsuken Do Kanda Ha Kamishin Ryu

The Kanda Ha Kamishin Ryu was created formally on November 1,1969 recognized formally by Shogo Kuniba Soke of the Seishinkan Sogo Budo Renmei. Soke Kuniba read the Soden of the Old Martial Art of Shorinji Tetsuken Ryu also known as So Rim Sa Churl Kwon Tang Su Do in Korea and Saulin Szu Chin Chen Chuan Fa In China, Kuniba decided to formally recognize the Koryu in Japan. Soke Kuniba made a scroll of recognition naming Albert Church Jr.Kanda Takashi requiring a name change to Nippon Kobudo Kamishin Ryu also known as Kanda Ha Kamishin Ryu. The Old Martial Art of Shorinji Tetsuken Ryu was formally reorganized according to Japanese Martial Art structure and requirements becoming a Kempo Jujutsu system, also known as Kobudo, meaning Old Martial Way.
